This is an invitation to all of students and friends to attend the World Refugee Day Festival in Annerley on Sunday 24 June.
The Festival is part of World Refugee Week and celebrates the contribution and diversity of Brisbane’s new and emerging communities from refugee backgrounds.
The festival is the largest in Queensland and has a unique flavour.
As part of the festival, the Multicultural Team is organising a marquee for Elders, leaders and seniors from the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islands and from the culturally diverse communities in Brisbane.
It will be a space to meet, have a cup of tea and speak with the Elders and leaders.
We hope to see you there – Come and bring a friend
